At the end of 2020, Volkswagen would be adding a new subcompact crossover to their lineup. This new addition aims to show the dedication Volkswagen has for growing its SUV segment. The 2022 Volkswagen Taos will be arriving at the end of 2021 and is said to be among the ranks of the Hyundai Tucson, Mazda CX-30, Chevrolet Trailblazer, and Subaru Crosstrek. As we still have a long time before we see the 2022 Volkswagen Taos, we figured we would share information we have about the model currently.
The 2022 Volkswagen Taos shares the same boxy design that we’ve seen in the 2021 Tiguan and 2021 Atlas Cross Sport and the foundation of the European models Skoda Karoq and Seat Ateca. The estimated starting price for this subcompact crossover is around $24,000 based on hints from Volkswagen. The Taos will be available in three trim levels: S, SE, and SEL. All three trims will have a front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configuration. If you are already interested in the 2022 Volkswagen Taos, be sure to reach out to us to inform us of your interest.
